A Drawing Day

Today we learned to draw in two different ways! This morning we met a little guy named Mat Man. He is made out of sticks. We sang a song about all of his different parts and we practiced making him on the carpet, with the Smart Board and in our books.

In the afternoon we went outside to sketch a crooked fall tree. We used pencil crayons, paper, and a clipboard. We tried to draw exactly what we saw by looking carefully at the tree.

"The tree looked like it was going to fall over." - Krystal

"The leaves were falling on the ground." - Abigail

"I loved the way the leaves were falling, it reminded me of our dancing." - Delilah

"I noticed that the leaves were changing colours." - Kiera
