Apps and Websites

Book Creator - A very simple app to create your own books including text, photos, drawing, videos and audio.

iBooks - A great app for storing and viewing your Book Creator books, PDF's and epubs you buy online.

PicCollage - This app allows you to add text, stickers, backgrounds and frames to your photos. We often use it to document the things we are learning about and then share them on Twitter, email or our blog.

Explain Everything - Basically an interactive white board that records both what's happening on the board and the users voice. We have been using this app for story re-telling.

CollinsBigCat - Interactive books. Students can have the app read the book for them, make their own story using the characters from the book, or read the books independently.

Puppet Pals - An app that allows students to choose characters and backgrounds for their very own puppet show. The app records the show as well as the student's narration. The recording can then be send to the iPad camera roll or shared through email.

Kidblogs - An app and website that allows students to write and share using their own blogs. All posts and comments are moderated by me (Mrs. Lowe).
