I Love to Read Month

February is I Love to Read Month at Stevenson School.  There will be great literacy events happening throughout the entire month. Make sure to check our blog and the Stevenson School Blog often to stay up to date.

This week's events include:

Monday, Feb. 2
Inservice Day - NO SCHOOL

Tuesday, Feb. 3
Kick Off To I Love Read Month Assembly in Gym at 9 AM
-The kindergarten students will be presenting a special sound story they have been working on. Parents are invited to attend. 
Early Dismissal at 3:10 PM

Wednesday, Feb. 4
Family Read In Evening in the Library at 6:30 - 7:30 PM 
Families will gather to read together. There will also be a small snack and some special prizes as well as a special guest you won't want to miss!

Thursday, Feb. 5
National Sweater Day
Turn down the heat and put on a sweater to promote saving energy for our Earth!
Winter Walk Day
Walk to school. Dress up warm for winter and get outside to enjoy it!

Friday, Feb. 6
Wear A Word Day - Wear Clothing with Words on Them
