This is just some of what was said in our reflection:

"Check out these people, they use paint, chalks, blindfolds, and spray paint." - Landyn

"They combined the music and art to create a beautiful picture. They don't care if it doesn't come out the way they wanted. They tried their best and it's their art." - Xander

"When the guy was making the picture, it was nice and it looks like it was in space." - Camilo

"They listen to their brain."- Harleen

"They use their imagination." - Ethan

"It was awesome." - Caleb

"They listen to the music." - J

"I liked the picture and I liked the music. It was my favourite." - Chance

Please leave us a comment and let us know what you think! Also, check back to see how our art is inspired by these conversations.

It's very interesting how art and music can play together. Mrs. Lowe - I will have to show your class the book, "I See a Song" by Eric Carle and maybe we can see what your class can come up with what kind of music they think they would create to the art work in his story. I also have a powerpoint on the connections and cross overs of music and art with some really neat art pictures that were inspired by music. Some good music to make a picture to is Claude Debusy's music. Many have been inspired to paint from his music - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGcEYALnk8s including Vincent Van Gough. Ms. Rempel
