Germ Book

Our class has been working hard at keeping our germs to our self. We have been focusing on keeping our hands out of our noses and mouths and covering our face when we cough or sneeze. We are remembering to wash our hands before eating.

Here's a video of the book we made. The room 9 students researched the topic, wrote the words, and chose the pictures for this book.

Today was Dot Day! We read a story called The Dot by Peter Reynolds. The story was about a girl named Vashti who learned that she could be an artist.

We learned that we never give up. We learned how to draw and paint circles.

We worked as a whole big team to create a humongous masterpiece! We learned new colours like silver and dark blue and dark purple.  

Introducing Learners of Room 9

We have had a great start to the school year. We've been busy getting to know each other and daily routines and procedures. Here are some of the highlights so far. We wrote this as a group and focused on ideas and spelling words we know. - Mrs. Lowe
